SCIENCE FAIR. Last Thursday night, Parkview Christian Academy held its biannual Science Fair. Themes for this year included simple machines, the scientific method with regards to food, the ocean floor, methods of transportation, energy, and biomes. All grades participated, K-8. The younger students all received “participation” awards, while the upper grades were judged on their visual and oral presentations and knowledge of their subject matter. The judges consisted of a science teacher from a nearby school and a former teacher and her husband. Parents, friends, and family came to see the exhibits, which were all displayed in the Parkview gymnasium.
