MOOVATHON. The weather was beautiful and everyone had a great time at Parkview Christian Academy’s recent Moovathon fundraising celebration. The Parkview students and families raised over $10,000. for the school in their month-long effort! The school wishes to thank everybody who made that possible! The cow-themed celebration day included a Moon Walk, outdoor games, a scavenger hunt, students dressed as dancing cows, a horse that was dressed like a cow but didn’t dance, and what may have been Kendall County’s largest Musical Chairs event ever (with over 60 participating)!

The Yorkville Fire Department was on hand to talk with the students and allow them the experience of walking through a fire truck and an ambulance. The Moon Walk was made possible by River Valley Community Church of Aurora. Donations largely came from school families, friends, and relatives, but local business sponsorship included: Brewster Investment Advisory Services; Carol & Company Photography; Centers for Foot and Ankle Surgery, Ltd.; Gavin Decorating, Inc.; Moguls, Inc.; Plumb Rite Radiant & Plumbing Design LLC; Speranza Boutique; and The National Bank.
