"When blessed with wealth, let them withdraw from the competition of vanity and be modest, retiring from ostentation, and not be the slaves of fashion."

Open House and History Fair
Last Thursday, Parkview Christian Academy held an Open House followed by a History Fair located in the school gymnasium. All grades, including preschool, participated in the History Fair. Students were present that evening to display and explain their projects. Each year, Parkview alternates between a History Fair and a Science Fair. On Wednesday, judges came from outside the school to evaluate student projects and interview the students. Ribbons were given for quality of work and ability to explain the project. Parkview's parent organization, called FLOCK, provided snacks while Lehe Lehe Coffee provided coffee for the evening. The open house was a chance for the community to visit classrooms and see the curriculum being used from Preschool to High School.
