The purpose of Parkview Christian Academy, in cooperation with the home and church, is to educate our students from a Biblical worldview. With the Bible as the foundation of all instruction, Parkview seeks to equip the whole child - spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically - in order for them to have a godly influence on their own families, their community, and the world. We at Parkview strive to instill a Christian education that inspires students to pursue excellence and to lead them to a saving faith in Jesus Christ, encouraging them to live lives of Biblical integrity and service. (Parkview Christian Academy’s Purpose Statement)
As we plan various activities and services for our students, it is always with this purpose in mind. Our Athletics program exists not only to provide an opportunity for our students to use and develop their athletic abilities, but also to grow spiritually by setting an example for Christ on the athletic field, and to engage in a social activity that instills valuable and enduring life lessons. Our Fine Arts program allows students an opportunity to express God-given talents through the arts; it also helps to develop well-rounded students who are knowledgeable and skilled music, drama, and art. Chapel is a weekly gathering of students, teachers, and parents where the focus is on worship (from the heart) and learning (through the intellect). Our Outreach opportunities involve students in both community and world projects, and helps instill in our students a sense of responsibility and a service mindset. All these things serve to develop the “whole” student and encourage a commitment toward a life of Biblical integrity and service.
