Student Life - Fine Arts

Parkview Christian Academy offers an opportunity for your child to participate in various Fine Arts activities. Students in all grades will be able to participate in music and art, and the older students also have an opportunity to be a part of the drama ministry.

We believe that the Arts can be used as a wonderful expression of praise to the Lord, and we want to provide our students with the opportunity to develop their interests into a more skilled form of worship. As the psalmist urges us, “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord” (Ps. 150:6).

Art. Art is offered weekly for Kindergarten through 8th grade and as an after-school elective for high school students. Students are taught to appreciate the masters, as well as expand their own personal creativity.

Music. Music is a weekly class for all students, Preschool through High School. Students learn various Christian and Gospel songs, as well as traditional and patriotic songs. The Christmas program and other all-school events provide the students opportunities to minister through singing.

Drama. Drama is a weekly elective for Middle and High School students and prepares the students to develop their God-given acting abilities and to entertain and communicate the Gospel on stage. The school play takes place in the spring of the year and includes students from Third Grade through High School.

Worship Team. Students in Middle School and High School are given the opportunity to be on the school worship team. The students participate through singing, playing instruments, and providing technical oversight of the chapel services.
