Our school has grown this past year and so has our chapel program! To accommodate our growing student body—and to be able to include Preschool in our morning chapel—we have separated our younger grades into two different chapels: Grades 2 through 6 meet on Tuesday mornings from 8:30-9:00, and Preschool through Grade 1 meet on Wednesday mornings from 8:30-9:00 (Preschool kids are dismissed at 8:45 after the singing). These two chapels meet at the Main Campus gymnasium and parents are invited to attend, as well. Chapel starts with the pledges to the American flag, the Christian flag, and the Bible. The students then sing a number of songs before hearing a short Bible lesson.
The Middle School and High School chapels are held at the South Campus on Wednesdays from 12:00-12:45. There is a student Worship Team that helps lead the worship, then a message is shared from various chapel speakers. Parents are welcome to attend these chapel services, as well.
While Parkview is not affiliated with any particular church or denomination, the teachers and staff share a common goal to see these young lives and their families in a living relationship with Jesus Christ. The goal of our chapels, then, is to challenge kids with a message from God’s Word and lead them into a more intimate relationship with the Father through worship and singing.
