Parkview Christian Academy began its interscholastic sports program in 2008 with the start of a girls basketball team. In 2009, Don Davidson started a boys basketball program at Parkview while concurrently serving his last year of a 33-year ministry at Aurora Christian as the only athletic director in the school’s history. His first team at Parkview included nine boys and spanned 3rd grade thru 8th grade. The following school year—2010-2011—Davidson came to Parkview as its athletic director and to coach the upper level middle school boys. He added Andrew Kick to coach the 3rd - 5th grade boys. Last season Parkview had 18 boys playing basketball in grades 3 thru 8!

Additionally, Kayla Linden was hired to coach girls volleyball and girls basketball for grades 5-9. This year, 2011-2012, Parkview currently has two levels of girls volleyball: 5th-6th and 7th-8th grade teams and anticipates the same for girls basketball. Also in this year's plans will be two levels of boys basketball: 5th-6th and 7th-8th grade teams. In the near future, Davidson believes they will start adding high school sports and soon will begin to compete in the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) tournaments for volleyball and boys and girls basketball.
