Campus Life - Overview

School Calendar - one-year overview

Parkview’s Main Campus (201 W. Center Street) is the home of our Preschool through sixth grade. Even before the doors open at 7 am for Preschool, the upper grade students have an opportunity to participate in Worship Team and Swimming. After school, the building is always busy with various sports, drama, or fine arts opportunities.

Tuesday morning (8:30-9:00) is chapel for grades 2-6 and Wednesday morning (8:30-9:00) is chapel for Preschool through first grade (Preschool dismisses at 8:45). Parents are invited to stay for these chapels. Following the Wednesday chapel, parents are welcome to stay for a parent prayer meeting, which runs until 10:00 in the school lunchroom. Various needs of families and the school are lifted up during this time.

All Parkview parents are part of FLOCK, Parkview’s parent organization. The FLOCK group meets in the evenings and is responsible for various student-related activities, family activities, and teacher encouragement.

With the expanding school program offered at Parkview and the growing student enrollment, by 2011 Parkview was privileged to move the Middle School and High School students to a second campus (Parkview South Campus), located at Helmar Lutheran Church. While the South Campus is located nine miles south of the Main Campus, students meet at the main campus and are bussed to the South Campus, then back at the end of the day. Sports and other co-curricular activities are still held at the Main Campus.

We have been praying that people would notice a tangible difference at Parkview, even in the very buildings where we meet. It is our prayer that people will sense God’s presence when they walk through our doors and at our various school events. We want to make a difference and offer people a feeling of community and a sense of belonging.
