 August 21(Thursday) 7:00 p.m. Back-to-School Parent Orientation. This is a chance to meet your child's teacher and see the classroom. Valuable information will be given that night so attendance is required.
August 25 (Monday). First day of school. Parents are invited to have breakfast in the gym with Mr. Apker, our new principal, following the dismissal of students to their classes.
September 1. Labor Day - no school.

| Family Fridays. Every Friday this summer Parkview families are invited to meet up at the pond around 10:00 a.m. Bring your fishing poles. Not into fishing? Meet up with us at noon for hotdogs in the park at the Town Center (across from the school). Cost for hotdog, pop and bag of chips is about $5. |
