 Mrs. Zancha back
Hi, I’m Carla Zancha. This is my third year at Parkview and I teach 1st and 2nd grade in the mornings. I have a degree from Moody Bible Institute in Christian Education. After attending Moody, I returned home to Michigan where I studied at Eastern Michigan University earning a BS degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in teaching methods, children’s literature and science. I taught in the public schools and in a Christian school in Michigan, then moved to Illinois where I taught for 19 years in Tinley Park, School District 146. I taught Kindergarten through 3rd grade and also taught in the gifted program. During my years in Tinley Park, I earned a Master of Arts Degree in teaching reading from Lewis University in Romeoville. I also married during those years. My late husband and I adopted two children from Russia. We now reside in Montgomery with our two dogs. In addition to teaching at Parkview, I am also the Director of Children’s Ministries at Naperville Christian Church. Between church and school ministries, we keep very busy as a family. We feel very blessed to be a part of Parkview Christian Academy.
