Mr. Apker, Principal back
I am Jim Apker and I'm in my second year serving as the Head of School at Parkview Christian Academy. My hometown is Kenosha, WI and, yes, I do bleed green and gold. My educational background includes a BA in Bible from Central Bible College, Springfield, MO, and an MA in New Testament Studies from Wheaton Graduate School. My family and I spent 13 years as missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators, four of which were in Nigeria, West Africa. Returning Stateside, I taught junior high for seven years at Calvary Christian School in Naperville, IL. My interests include piano and guitar, fishing and any sports with my son, Caleb, and discussing Tozer, Lewis, and other areas of theology with my daughter, Rebekah. I am also the proud grandparent of little Eliana Grace and can’t get enough of spending time with her. It is my privilege to be at Parkview and I am excited about the new opportunities that are ahead of us, particularly in the areas of music, drama, sports, and technology. It is my passion to see these young people develop and grow in every area possible.
